A modern interior has been built inside the original 18th century stone house and the later laundry extension, with double glazing throughout and under floor heating on the ground floor.

The original part of the house has a comfortable sitting room with an open fire and views to the east, south and west. Adjacent is the study with similar views, a wood burning stove, bookcase, TV etc. sofa and chairs. The dining room, which is known as the Parlour, sits 8-10 in comfort. Its original panelling, now restored, can be seen in the Macquarie University in Sydney.
